Asian markets end lower

Asian markets ended lower. China's Shanghai Composite slipped 0.65% or 22.646 points at 3,436.398. 

Japan's Nikkei plunged 1.60% or 230.97 points at 14,209.17.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 1.83% or 455.60 points at 24,375.76.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted tumbled 1.66% or 145.04 points at 8,579.43.

Singapore's Straits Times declined 1.07% or 34.11 points at 3,153.94.

South Korea's Seoul Composite fell 1.52% or 28.14 points at 1,819.39.

Japan's Nikkei plunged 1.51% or 218.35 points at 14,221.79.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 1.49% or 370.25 points at  24,461.11.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted tumbled 0.84% or 73.33 points at 8,651.14.

Singapore's Straits Times declined 0.96% or 30.60 points at 3,157.45.

South Korea's Seoul Composite fell 1.17% or 21.64 points at 1,825.89.
