Asian markets end lower

Asian markets ended lower. Shanghai Composite fell 1.65% or 58.556 points at 3,485.63. Hang Seng slipped 1.64% or 417.17 points at 25,043.12.

Straits Times fell 36.04 points or 1.13% at 3,160.86. Seoul Composite slipped 0.65% or 12.09 points at 1,835.42. Taiwan Weighted lost 7.54 points or 0.08% at 9,008.03.

However Nikkei 225 Average advanced 0.37% or 52.16 points at 13,978.46.
Jakarta Composite gained 0.37% or 9.2429 points at 2,503.9519.

Asian markets trading weak

Asian markets were trading lower following weak US markets cues. Shanghai Composite fell 1.42% or 50.48 points at 3,493.71. Hang Seng slipped 2.435 or 617.45 points at 24,842.84. Nikkei 225 Average fell 0.91% or 126.42 points at 13,799.88.

Jakarta Composite was down 1.05% or 26.08 points at 2,468.63. Straits Times fell 40.57 points or 1.27% at 3,156.33. Seoul Composite slipped 1.47% or 27.24 points at 1,820.27. Taiwan Weighted lost 71.30 points or 0.79% at 8,944.27.

Asian markets trading lower

Asian markets were trading lower. China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.86% or 30.63 points at 3,513.56.

Japan's Nikkei declined 1.18% or 164.03 points at 13,762.27.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng tumbled  2.22% or 565.63 points at 24,894.66.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was down 0.96% or 86.11 points at 8,929.46.

Singapore's Straits Times plunged 1.59% or 50.92 points at 3,145.98.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 1.77% or 32.63 points at 1,814.88.
