Asian markets end lower

Asian markets ended lower. Nikkei 225 Average was down 233.79 points or 1.65% at 13,926.30. Jakarta Composite fell 16.25 points or 0.65% at 2,494.709.

Straits Times fell 0.09% or 2.98 points at 3,196.90. Seoul Composite slipped 25.64 points or 1.37% at 1,847.51. Taiwan Weighted lost 53.32 points or 0.59% at 9,015.57.

However, Shanghai Composite was gained 2.93% or 101.024 points at 3,544.186. Hang Seng advanced 290.83 points or 1.16% at 25,460.29.

Asian markets trading lower

Asian markets were trading sharply lower. Shanghai Composite was down 1.87% or 64.33 points at 3,378.83. Hang Seng fell 158.77 points or 0.63% at 25,010.69.

Nikkei 225 Average was down 259.25 points or 1.83% at 13,900.84. Jakarta Composite fell 27.46 points or 1.09% at 2,483.50. Straits Times fell 0.8% or 25.69 points at 3,174.19. Seoul Composite slipped 18.12 points or 0.97% at 1,855.03. Taiwan Weighted lost 15.65 points or 0.17% at 9,053.24.

Asian markets trading weak

Asian markets were trading weak. China's Shanghai Composite was down 2.01% or 69.06 points at 3,374.10.

Japan's Nikkei slipped 1.97% or 279.21 points at 13,880.88.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng declined 0.94% or 237.83 points at 24,931.63.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted dropped 0.79% or 72.09 points at 8,996.80.

Singapore's Straits Times plunged 1.21% or 38.81 points at 3,161.07.

South Korea's Seoul Composite fell 1.04% or 19.51 points at 1,853.64.
