Asian markets ended lower. Japan's Nikkei was down 1.49% or 199.80 points at 13,250.43.  

Hong Kong's Hang Seng slipped 1.09% or 267.07 points at 24,311.69.   

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.65% or 56.94 points at  8,672.85.   

Singapore's Straits Times declined 1.62% or 51.50 points 3,130.42.

South Korea's Seoul Composite dropped 1.06% or 18.85 points at 1,754.71.

Asian markets trading weak

Asian markets were trading weak. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.93% or 125.22 points at 13,325.01.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng slipped 0.85% or 209.29 points at 24,369.47.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.22% or 18.79 points at 8,711.

Singapore's Straits Times declined 0.47% or 14.86 points 3,167.06.

South Korea's Seoul Composite dropped 1.03% or 18.26 points at 1,755.30.
