Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 1.78% or 149.89 points at 8,262.87.   

Singapore's Straits Times declined 3.30% or 99.90 points at 2,926.55.

South Korea's Seoul Composite slipped 2.33% or 39.89 points at 1,671.73.
