Asian markets end higher

Asian markets ended higher. China's Shanghai Composite gained 5.24% or 146.36 points at 2,941.11.

Japan's Nikkei was up 0.73% or 104.45 points at 14,452.82.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng advanced 1.61% or 267.81 points at 23,325.80.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted surged 0.19% or 15.79 points at 8,217.58.

South Korea's Seoul Composite rose 1.34% or 23.42 points at 1,774.13.

Singapore's Straits Times added 0.39% or 11.85 points at 3,040.09.

Asian markets trading higher

Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite advanced 2.79% or 77.96 points at 2,872.71.

Japan's Nikkei rose 0.66% or 94.03 points at 14,442.40.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 0.60% or 138.33 points at 23,196.32.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted surged 0.49% or 39.83 points at 8,241.62.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.48% or 8.38 points at 1,759.09.

Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 3,028.28.

Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite plunged 1.93% or 53.92 points at 2,740.83.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.90% or 7.02 points at 8,194.77.

Singapore's Straits Times slipped 0.46% or 13.96 points at 3,014.28.

However, Japan's Nikkei gained 0.40% or 57.40 points at 14,405.77.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 0.17% or 40.34 points at 23,098.33.

South Korea's Seoul Composite advanced 0.15% or 2.56 points at 1,753.27.
