Asian Markets end higher

Asian Markets ended higher. Hang Seng was up 1.95% or 489.60 points at 25,552.77. Jakarta Composite rose 1.72% or 40.897 points at 2,418.8999. Nikkei 225 Average was up 1.53% or 210.37 points at 13,953.73. Straits Times gained 23.26 points or 0.73% at 3,203.42. Seoul Composite was up 1.05% or 19.10 points at 1,842.80. Taiwan Weighted rose 1.81% or 159.48 points at 8,989.53. But however, Shanghai Composite was down 1.84% or 66.739 points at 3,560.243. Asia trading higher barring Shanghai; Nikkei up 148-pt Asian markets were trading higher barring Shanghai Composite, which was down 2.58% or 93.43 points at 3,533.55. Hang Seng was up 0.41% or 102.54 points at 25,165.71. Jakarta Composite rose 1.72% or 40.85 points at 2,418.85. Nikkei 225 Average was up 1.08% or 148 points at 13,891.36. Straits Times gained 17.29 points or 0.54% at 3,197.45. Seoul Composite was up 0.35% or 6.43 points at 1,830.13. Taiwan Weighted rose 1.54% or 135.67 points at 8,965.72. Asia trading higher barring Shanghai; Nikkei up 89-pt Asian markets were trading higher barring Shanghai Composite. Hang Seng was up 8.26 points or 0.03% at 25,071.43. Jakarta Composite was up 0.71% or 16.84 points at 2,394.84. Nikkei 225 Average rose 0.64% or 88.49 points at 13,831.85. Straits Times gained 0.28% or 8.94 points at 3,189.10. Seoul Composite rose 0.05% or 0.90 points at 1,824.60. Taiwan Weighted was up 125.91 points or 1.43% at 8,955.96. However, Shanghai Composite fell 49.42 points or 1.36% at 3,577.56. |
