Asian markets end higher

Asian markets ended higher. Japan's Nikkei rose 0.23% or 31.34 points at 13,579.16.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 1.40% or 350.09 points at 25,289.24.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.74% or 13.30 points at 1,800.79.
However, Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.32% or 28.76 points at 9,008.49.

Asian markets were trading firm. Japan's Nikkei gained 0.69% or 92.83 points at 13,640.65.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.58% or 145.86 points at 25,085.01.
Singapore's Straits Times advanced 0.44% or 14.03 points at 3,201.26.
South Korea's Seoul Composite added 0.94% or 16.72 points at 1,804.21.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 9,037.25.
