Asian markets end higher

Hang Seng was up 0.41% or 105.15 points at 25,618.86. Jakarta Composite rose 19.03 points or 0.78% at 2,468.84. Straits Times was up 34.06 points or 1.06% at 3241.49.

Seoul Composite rose 0.17% or 3.17 points at 1888.88.  Taiwan Weighted was up 0.44% or 40.23 points at 9,197.41.

However, Shanghai Composite was down 0.36% or 13.09 points at 3,624.23.
Nikkei 225 Average declined 0.23% or 32.26 points at 14,219.48.

Asian mkts trading higher; Nikkei, Hang Seng up

Asian markets were trading higher barring Shanghai. Hang Seng was up 0.7% or 178.50 points at 25,692.21. Nikkei 225 Average was up 0.53% or 75.74 points at 14,327.48.

Jakarta Composite rose 15.35 points or 0.63% at 2,465.16. Straits Times was up 30.45 points or 0.95% at 3,237.88. Seoul Composite rose 0.11% or 2.02 points at 1,887.73. Taiwan Weighted was up 0.57% or 52.61 points at 9,209.79.

However, Shanghai Composite was down 0.09% or 3.24 points at 3,634.08.

Asian mkts trading higher; Hang Seng up over 200-pt

Asian markets were trading higher. Shanghai Composite was up 0.17% or 6.31 points at 3,643.63. Hang Seng was up 0.90% or 229.26 points at 25,742.97. Nikkei 225 Average rose 21.97 points or 0.15% at 14,273.71.

Jakarta Composite was up 21.14 points or 0.86% at 2,470.95. Straits Times gained 26.55 points or 0.83% at 3,233.98. Seoul Composite shot up 0.30% or 5.58 points at 1,891.29. Taiwan Weighted was up 0.71% or 65.25 points at 9,222.43.
