Asian markets end higher; Hang Seng up 290 points

Asian markets ended higher. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 1.28% or 290.30 points at 22,995.35. Japan's Nikkei advanced 1.01% or 126.15 points at 12,658.28. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.99% or 82.23 points at 8,381.60. Singapore's Straits Times added 0.86% or 24.26 points at 2,860.85. South Korea's Seoul Composite shot up 1% or 16.31 points at 1,641.48.
Asian markets @ 10:00am Asian markets trading lower; Hang Seng down 259 points Asian markets were trading lower. Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.14% or 259.06 points at 22,445.99. Japan's Nikkei dropped 0.22% or 27.69 points at 12,504.44. Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.28% or 7.94 points at 2,828.65. However, South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.23% or 3.73 points at 1,628.90. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 8,296.27. Asian markets @ 8:16 am Asian markets trading mixed; Hang Seng down 317 points Asian markets were trading mixed. Japan's Nikkei was up 0.14% or 17.20 points at 12,549.33. Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted rose 0.26% or 21.93 points at 8,321.30. However, Hong Kong's Hang Seng slipped 1.40% or 317.45 points at 22,387.60. Singapore's Straits Times was down 0.86% or 24.37 points at 2,812.22. South Korea's Seoul Composite fell 0.12% or 1.96 points at 1,623.21. |
