Wipro trips on selling pressure

At 10:30 am, Wipro was quoting at Rs 361.45, down Rs 18.35, or 4.83%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 389 and an intraday low of Rs 357. 

It has announced its Q1 FY09 results (Indian GAAP). Consolidated net sales were up 5% at Rs 5,981.1 crore versus Rs 5,691.9 crore on QoQ basis. Its consolidated net profit was up 4.2% at Rs 907.8 crore versus Rs 871.6 crore on QoQ basis.

It was trading with volumes of 337,317 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 2.30% or Rs 8.55 at Rs 379.80.
