At 2:45 pm, Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals was quoting at Rs 258.15, up Rs 18.75, or 7.83%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 264.50 and an intraday low of Rs 236.10. 
 
It was trading with volumes of 3,998,425 shares, compared to its five-day average of 1,491,871 shares, an increase of 168.01%.
 
Yesterday the share closed down 0.44% or Rs 1.05 at Rs 239.40.
