Godrej Consumer announces result; stock down

At 1:50 pm, Godrej Consumer Products was quoting at Rs 125, down Rs 2.15, or 1.69%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 129.80 and an intraday low of Rs 124.50. 

It has declared its consolidated results for FY08. The company's net sales were at Rs 1,102.5 crore versus Rs 953.3 crore. During the same year its net profit was at Rs 159.3 crore versus Rs 144 crore.
 
It was trading with volumes of 36,962 shares, compared to its five-day average of 9,336 shares, an increase of 295.93%.
 
Yesterday the share closed up 0.16% or Rs 0.20 at Rs 127.15.
