Bharti set to dilute equity for MTN buy, stk up

At 10 am, Bharti Airtel was quoting at Rs 836.65, up Rs 9.05, or 1.09%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 839 and an intraday low of Rs 827.

The buying interest in the stock may be due to the reports in the Business Standard that the company is set to dilute equity for MTN buy, they are going to raise up to Rs 28,000 crore.
 
It was trading with volumes of 34,832 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 1.45% or Rs 11.80 at Rs 827.60.
