At 1:38 pm, Axis Bank was quoting at Rs 862.20, up Rs 37.45, or 4.54%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 868.70 and an intraday low of Rs 799.
It has announced its Q4 and FY08 numbers. It has reported 70.55% growth in its Q4 standalone net profit of Rs 361.4 crore as against Rs 211.9 crore in the same quarter of earlier year.
It was trading with volumes of 605,620 shares. On Thursday the share closed up 4.82% or Rs 37.95 at Rs 824.75.
