End of domestic bus and truck companies

Posted by : small trader
Price when posted : BSE: Rs 47.55 ( 4.62 % ), NSE: Rs. 47.50 ( 3.94 % )

Major market chunk of transport bus has now been taken by Volvo and Merc with their entry. players like AL are now more into intercity buses. On the transport side their trucks are still strong but are going to face strong competition again from international companies. This is just fundamental not indicating what the stock is going to do in the short term but more about where its headed and the challenges. The bus market is almost lost. The truck market is what they need to hold on to........

Agreed, as already in my earlier poost i had mentioned that it is going to test below 40 levels soon.
The Uttarakhand factor would only come in after Q1-Q-2 2010, till then no real reason for this stock to appreciate
significantly, given the fact that it`s PE valuation at curent levels is expensive.
It`s better to book profits at current levels and re enter later.

Target is 40-38-36-33-31.5-28.5...
