With reference to the earlier annoucement dated July 31, 2009 regarding Outcome of Board meeting, Mirc Electronics Ltd has now informed BSE that, in the said annoucement, read the number of shares as 248000 equity shares of Re 1/- each instead of 124000 equity shares of Re 1/-, as inadvertently mentioned.
In view of the above, the said annoucement should be read as follows:
The Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on July 31, 2009 decided to forfeit 248000 equity shares of Re 1/- each due to non payment of call money of Re 0.50 per equity share by the 124 shareholders of the Company....

The Company has now informed the Exchange that "We request you to please read the number of shares as 248000 equity shares of Re.1/- each instead of 124000 equity shares of Re.1/-, as inadvertently mentioned in our earlier letter.
