NBC is want to sell the stake if they want they can sell in open market or to any other investor but I guess they offered this first to NDTV promoter as a first choice.
NDTV promoter have accepted this offer as they are sure believing in their own company.
I guess as the price of stake sell has not be decided yet hence the stock has been running in very narrow range. As soon the deal will complete & price of buy back will be disclose the stock will start performing.
Remember even if Reliance announce the bonus the share price didn`t run on the same day & now it started moving up. Look at the jindal steel & power xbonus price ?
Some time stock starts moving few days after the announcement of good things as people always wants price movement on announcement & it doesn`t happen always. Stock prices doesn`t move as per people expectation but it`s vice a versa.
Any good news like buyback price announcement, demerger or good quarterly results will sure boost up the price by 15 to 25 % for sure.

Based on Universal wanting its money back, i would be very careful with NDTV now.
One should remember, that NDTV went up in price because of this 26 percent stake purchase by Universal.
At best, things are jittery with NDTV until they come out with some specific and correct news.
My common sense says, that if things were going OK with NDTV , they would be making all kinds of announcements by now.. why are they so quite... my guess is.. because things are not going that well....
I like NDTV , hence i wish it the best, but i rather not risk my limited money.
