Lupin Ltd has informed BSE that the Allotment Committee of Directors at its meeting held on November 05, 2009 has allotted 679,745 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 10/- each, the particulars of which are as under:

- Shares Issued upon : conversion of Zero Coupon Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCB) issued by the Company pursuant to the Offering Memorandum dated January 02, 2006
- No. of shares : 677125

- Shares Issued upon : exercising the options granted to employees under the stock option plans of the Company
- No. of shares : 2620

In view of the above, the Issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs. 886,182,670 consisting 88,618,267 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.
