Ess Dee Aluminium Limited has submitted to the Exchange a copy of the notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company to be held on November 10, 2009 to pass a Special Resolution under Section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act, 1956 for enabling to raise up to Rs 500 crores (Rupees Five Hundred Crores Only) in one or more tranches, by way of QIP / GDRs / ADRs / FCCBs/ FCEBs, etc under the SEBI (ICDR) Regulations 2009. The purpose of the issue is stated under the explanatory statement which forms part of the notice. A copy of the same shall be available on the NSE website (http://www.nseindia.com) under: Corporates > Latest Announcements and on the Extranet Server (/Common/Corporate Announcements).
