Cummins India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors in its meeting held on May 26, 2009 have recommended final dividend of Rs. 2.60 per share on equity shares of Rs. 2/- each fully paid up for the year ended March 31, 2009, in addition to the special dividend of Rs. 2.40 per share declared on December 05, 2008 and interim dividend of Rs. 4/- per share declared on January 27, 2009. Further, the Register of Members and Share transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed from July 25, 2009 to July 29, 2009, (both days inclusive), for the purpose of Annual Book Closure for AGM to be held on July 29, 2009, and payment of final dividend of Rs. 2.60 per share for the financial year 2008-09, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
