3i Infotech has one strength, which is that is does some high-end work and has some products. But the problems now are many.

Their US clients are slowing down. And its single largest customer ICICI Group is in deep trouble.

I would suggest switching to another stock that has similar strengths but not the problems.

Mastek gets half its revenue from government sector (mainly UK) and so is insulated from recession. Rest comes from multiple clients and it has products like Elixir, STG Paradigm ASP, etc.

Even if Mastek does a Rs 55 EPS in FY2009 (most probably will do better, because it did EPS of Rs44 in FY2008), there is no downside at current levels.

Buy Mastek. I also recommend Infotech Enterprises, Allied Digital, and Onmobile tech.

This company`s future earnings are under immense pressure as there clients in USA are undergoing major slowdown. Till 2011 the ernings would be subdued and one can get this share at 25-27 Rs in 2010. Corporate Governance is big question mark here as they are alloting shares to themselves. One can exit this counter...

yes stock price corrected a lot. It is quoting below 52 weeks now. One can buy now and average the cost. Good company in mid cap it space. ICI...

3i Infotech has touched a 52-week low of Rs 79.20. At 1:05 pm, the share was quoting at Rs 79.65, down Rs 4.9, or 5.8%. It was trading with volumes of 57,133 shares. Yesterday the share closed down 2.42% or Rs 2.10 at Rs 84.55.
