Cimmco Birla Ltd has informed the Exchange that the Company in its Board Meeting held on September 13, 2008, has taken the following decisions: (1) Mr. R. K. Goel and Mr. R. M. Agarwal have been appointed as Additional Directors on the Board of the Company. They have been appointed as additional directors on the nomination of Asset Reconstruction Company India Limited, (ARCIL) as secured creditor of the Company. (2) The Company has adopted and ratified the Tripartite Labour Settlement Agreement dated March 05, 2008 executed under Section 18 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 in respect of the labour dues of the Company. (3) The Company has resolved to bring an end to the management lockout at its facility located at Bharatpur, Rajasthan with effect from September 14, 2008. (4) The Company has constituted an executive committee of the Board with Mr. R. M. Agarwal, R.K.Goel and Mr. J. P. Gupta as members for taking necessary steps and actions for rehabilitation of the Company and to monitor day to day affairs of the Company and take decisions in relation thereto.
