Good results by Classic Diamond for FY-08. Net Profit is up by 38.11% to Rs 311.4 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 225.47 million for FY-07. Total Income is up by only 9.72% to Rs 7,114.11 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 6,483.61 million in FY-07.

In Mar-08 quarter the Net Profit is up by 122% to Rs 55.15 million as compared to Rs 24.8 million for Mar-07 quarter. The Total Income is up by 6.69% to Rs 1,802.91 million in Mar-08 quarter as compared to Rs 1,689.88 million in Mar-07 quarter.

The EPS for FY-08 is Rs 8.28 (face value split to Rs 2) as compared to Rs 6.44 (revised on fv of Rs 2) for FY-07. At current market price of Rs 42.05 the PE is 5. The Return on Equity is 14.37%. The Book Value per share is Rs 57.82 and the Price to Book Value is 0.73.
