Britannia Industries is planning to expand its dairy business arm in New Zealand with an investment of Rs 1.5 billion, reports Business Standard.

The company is planning to buy out its New Zealand-based partner Fonterra Co-operative`s stake in the joint venture.

It is already into negotiations with Fonterra and awaiting their feedback. The JV, Britannia New Zealand Foods, in which Bangalore-based Britannia controls 51% stake, is a Rs 2 billion business. It offers a range of dairy products including cheese, milk powder, butter and ghee

When entire market is crashed to yearly low, how like oaisis in the desert i.e Britania, Zandu pharma etc. have turnede to green on 29th September 2008. Please guide me....
