FRIDAY THE 13th of June 2008[LOL]:-
My Gut-Feeling, which hasnt betrayed me until date:-
My 22k target still remains by March 09...but certainly the rally , this time, wud be more of a HOLLOW rally with lesser stocks participating this time... Until 2010, is what my Guts can predict, beyond that we will see at that time...LOL. But INDIA surely has SOME HUGE SURPRISES in her kitty, no doubt about that... :)
In short to medium term :- I think by or after diwali we will be in a better more bullish position, when all those COMBINED worries of:-
- inflation;
- higher interest rates;
- higher crude prices [& the speculation in it & other commodities];
- then elections[both local & US];
...all these worries & **TEMPERORY** problems wud soften from thereon.
After all , as I always mention: That there is bound to be light after every dark tunnel.

I started my journey on the MMB with one of this msg / article & i just love it as it was one of my best & highly rated one... when our mkts CRASHED last May 2006. And here we are sitting pretty at above 15000 levels... Wooooohfff!!!!
No guys , please dont think that I am here to boast about myself... But who doesnt like appreciations????

After all, it is only on d darkest of nights dat one can see the "stars" most clearly!
This age-old adage is quite apt 4 d present state of affairs in d stock mkt. D mkt sentiments is at its lowest ebb. Even though d mkt has fallen by 3000 points, it gives d impression dat we r at d 6000 level as many of d stocks r quoting at a prices dey were quoting at 6000 levels. Mid-cap & small-cap stocks hav been SMOTHERED. More dan 600 scrips hav hit their 52 weeks low on last Thursday. Dis despite d fact dat d sensex is at its 3-month low.
What does dis indicate??
It clearly points 2 d fact dat sensex is not reflecting d mood of d mkt cent percent. D situation is more precarious dan it is made out 2 b. Investors r selling wherever dey c some profits, as dey feel dat d mkt may take a further fall, there4 it is wise 2 book profit else these profits may also vanish in no time. Due 2 dis , irrespective of fundamentals, stocks hav taken a huge beating. Dis happens in any sever fall.
In d bullish mkt, every1 suggest dat d Indian growth story is very much intact, while in a bearish mkt, now every1 wud talk bout d lower levels dat wud create UNWANTED FEAR in d mind of investors.
I think its time 2 b a CONTRARIAN at dis point of time. If u can do dat , u wud make decent money in d next 12 months time.
If u hav money, get in2 good stocks NOW. Buy in small lots as dis mkt may not run up in d immediate future. Dis strategy wud help u 2 optimize ur cost of acquisition. Also, remember never try 2 time d mkt. Do not wait 4 d bottom bcoz one wud get 2 know d bottom only after it has formed. Remember dat d fundamental story of d country has not changed. V r still in d GROWTH PHASE. D economy is expected 2 clock a better GDP number & if so INDIA Inc. wud continue 2 do well. As & wen d mkt sentiment wud change 4 d better , v wud c all leading & gud stocks performing well.
This is also time 2 go 4 d gud dividend yield stocks, First , these wil not fall much & second, dey r fundamentally sound as dey give away hard cash 2 their investors.
At dis point of time, I wud suggest all our boarders not 2 panic even if ur portfolio has taken a huge beating. HOLD UR NERVES. D good fundamental stocks wud bounce back & dey wud bounce back equally fast. Dis mkt has fallen by more dan 3000 points in jus one month. Jus as a quick rise in d mkt is not sustainable(as v hav seen), by d same token, a quick fall in d mkt is also not sustainable. Who knows v may b very close 2 d bottom.
Rite now, d night is dark & v hav kept our eyes closed. In d process, v r missing some of d brightest “STARS” shining in d nite but r available at dirt cheap rates.
Go & buy these “stars”!!!!!!!!!!
