Dear sanjay, Plz. note, if u r investing thru Icici-direct u can`t get free insurance available on Rel., Birla & Kotak funds. To get this free insurance, plz. invest directly to respective AMCs or invest thru Karvy/CAMS which r the registrar for these AMCs. All 3 AMCs r offering different calculation for sum assured of insurance. It`s advisable to read @ individual sites for more info on this matter. Thanks Ashal...

Sanjay, The funds r already suggested by dear sharmaji. Here is my additional input. Instead of SIP, go for STP from liquid funds to ur target Eq. funds within same AMC. This way u may earn some extra return on the money lying idle in ur bank acct. Thanks Ashal...

Hi ,
You need not put money in NFO. In case you want to invest in Infra MF , then Icici Prudential Infrastructure fund is a good fund and is performing nicely....

Sundaram Tax Saver only@ Rs.2000 P.M....

Please Don`t go in for Reliance Vision.Putting in ICICI Infrastructure or not is a personal choice though this fund has been performing rather well in this sector....
