Hi Sood,
You are right. But, I guess this is because of the extra ordinary market situation. Market is dragging down everything on the way.
Otherwise, if this could have been a normal situation then after ex-bonus price change could have provided a 5-10% benfit to investors holding the stock.
However, it is good for all investors to remain invested in bluechip compnies.As now a days money saved is money earned, and what I mean by saving is, not making loss.

In normal conditions, people could have gone for GAIL as it is also issueing bonus, but in reality that stock is also roaming around 390-420 for quite a long time....

short GAIL @ 418< or above ...

it can go upto 430 even but short it acc 2 market conditions...

1st lot short at 418...n den avg if it goes up 2 430

fr a short term target of 405-408...

At the current Speed Of Trend, GAIL will become OVERSOLD (getting bearish) on 9th October, 2008, at about Rs. 368.26.

These figures may change drastically by Monday evening (29th September, 2008), depending upon the nature of cues from the US markets.

its pendulum swings towards southpole,as correction is needed before issue a 1:2 bonus share as tomorrow is last day month cutting make sense tomorrow price shows as movement as target of obove 500/=
