Really a shame

Dear rahul_kh,
Over the last couple of months we are getting many BSE/NSE annoucements about NCC mgmt increasing their stake.
Blackstone group has also held onto their stake.
I would also not suggest to average out... but keep holding for the long term... this stock will make the investors rich...
regards,
Sourav...

Thats right Sourav. FII has around 32% holding in NCC as on 30/06/2008 which is in fact much higher than its promoters` holding which is about 23%. I believe NCC has bottomed out as compared to its peers and it seems extremely difficult that it would go down below 40.
Therefore if one needs to avergare out then its a right time to buy at current price however I personally feel that NCC is not the best scrip in construction sector therefore it is better to not to make a fresh entry into this and rather look for some other better stocks.

Indiabull Real estate is bigger (in terms of market cap) than NCC with attractive technicals (PE, BV). i would rather bet on IBRE for long term. NCC, according to me will shed more weight in the next few days....

even though i am holding nagarjuna const in my holding i never thought the stock would crash like this.really its not a cry i am sure the stock would trade at its peak very shortly well how this can happen to such a reliable sound and magnificently managed company its a classical story
it will not die. i think all people have decided that it will not move i tell you what the stock is now thrown in to the dust but i am sure it will regain its lost ground soon.EPS of close to 8 and FY 09 will be around 10. so stock is at 5 times PE So its time to invest at this stage without any hesitation i think fair value is around 140 - 150.

Dear goldentip,
The same reason as to what took it at 380 levels... FIIs.
Moreover the whole of last fiscal NCC showed pathetic results... due to delays from their side. The situation is not any different this fiscal as well expect for the fact that, the delays would be from the GOI this time.
NCC would become a forced long term hold for a lot of people now... you should consider yourself lucky if you get your buy price within an year... by the way, how long can you hold this share?
regards,
Sourav

The present level for NCC looks attractive but looking to the weakness in the market, it may fall a bit further. LT prospects of the share looks brighter....

Sourav, I was out trekking in the mountains for 10 days, I did not follow any news, but when I come back, what do I see! I had added some more nagarconst just before I left at Rs 114, I thought thats a mouthwatering price, now it is at Rs 53!!!!!!! What caused a 50% slump in 5-7 days?
Really a shame
