good move but what about the pricing?in most of the ipo prices are more than the actual price so it goes in discount sebi must take action against merchant bankers for over value price of ipo by giving rosy picture....

right issue is over long back and now nothing can be done....

there are more then thousand companies which delisted by exchanges and investors are holding shares in paper form and can be sold on weight basis but no buyer for these shares and no action from regulatories so nothing can be done you have to forget your money since last 20 years thing is going on....

if you have trading account account and demat account in same firm then only power of attorney comes in picture and in past many cases have come up that broker used your shares for trading without informing you and then charging you for losses here sebi is asking to give power of attorney to firm not to individual and for economy purpose they do not send you transaction statesments every month so sebi wants that they must send everymonth.here i want to add one more suggestion that power of attorney must be given for market trade only not for off market trade.any doubt weolcome....

sebi initiated new guidelines for power of attorney for investors some highlites are as follws.
1.it is to be given to broker or dp not to individuals.
2.every trasaction is to be sent to clients such as traded shares and amount.
3.it is restricted for items which is specified,

i agree with you and our regulatories always wakes up when damage is already done sebi can question about valuations to merchant bankers and lead managers if valuation is high and take action or black list them for future ipo but they are lazy and no creative action....

sebi initiated very good debates on poa and investors must take care before giving poa to brokers and dps to avoid losses due to manipulation my suggestion is that poa cannot be used by brokers and dps for off market trasactions and it is to banned by sebi any views?...
