i agree with you. this is general phenomena. i remember bank of ndia. for long it was hovering at Rs40. similarly icici bank when merge was trading at low value for long time. I feel IDBI will start benifiting now as mainly there branches are to international quality, which we don`t see in most psu banks.

(TOI) The deepening mystery over Rs 612 crore winding up into Satyam accounts from Maytas Infra and Maytas Properties accounts is now threatening to make the restatement of Satyam’s accounts messier for the Mahindras. In a clear indication of a major battle brewing for the Mahindras, IL&FS, the new owners of Maytas Infra, has for the first time provided detailed documentary evidence of transfer of funds, albeit only Rs 20 crore out of Rs 392 crore to begin with.
IL&FS, in a letter written late last month to Mahindra Satyam, has detailed how Rs 20 crore was transferred in two tranches of Rs 5 crore and Rs 15 crore from Maytas Infra accounts on July 31, 2008, and transferred in a single day through accounts of two shell companies — Angeerasa Greenfields and Saptaswara AgroFarm — through the Hyderabad branch of Axis Bank. According to top Maytas Infra sources, the letter has asked Mahindras to put the transaction on record and acknowledge that it was a debt that needs to be repaid as the money was transferred by non-revenue generating companies.
What also promises to hold up the restatement process is that not only has the IL&FS letter asked Mahindra Satyam to inform its board of directors, audit firm KPMG that is restating its accounts as well as the audit committee about the Maytas Infras request, copies of the letter have also been marked to the ministry of corporate affairs as well as chairmen of Maytas lenders like ICICI Bank, IDBI and SBI.
According to top Maytas Infra sources, a similar process would be followed for the remaining Rs 372 crore, which wound up through different transactions into Satyam.
Ved Jain, the government appointed director on the Maytas Infra and Maytas Properties’ boards told TOI that three months after Maytas Properties board wrote to Mahindra Satyam seeking a refund of Rs 220 crore, they were yet to receive a response. “We will pursue a legal remedy if need be,” said Jain, in an indicator of what is to come. The Mahindras have steadfastly refuted any evidence of monies from these companies coming into Satyam accounts....

Maytas will now become a national player from a regional player getting order moslty from Andhra. ILFS has a vision that it will bid for projects nationwide. This will propel Maytas into a different league.

You are right Mukut that delivery is high but in Austral that has no role to play as of now. It has been high previously also. It is just that operator A is selling it to operator B and he is taking the delivery. Market will open with a bang and may take Austral to positive side but still in my view Austral should come down more.
