| About me: I am trying to learn the investment basics by way of sharing ideas and thoughts with like minded investors.
FM presented a budget keeping focus on election and his govt’s survival in those elections. He also messed up with PSU banks and market.
So far he has not said how he will pay for farmer’s loan to banks. Also it will be left (at least 2/3) to next FM to worry about it. In his mind it is clearly a headache of next FM, within or outside his party he doesn’t care. He also hinted that there are better things in life to do. This was his reply when he was asked that this was his last budget. In his mind he is clear about one thing – the mess he is creating, he don’t have to clean it.
FM played with market sentiment by way of additional short term capital gain tax. When world wide every market is fallowing on USA recession worries, he bolted a final nail in the coffin. Not sure what he was thinking for market to react. Market reacted with 900 points fall today. I am expecting it to go fall another 1000 points.
BTW Indian brokers and TV experts are bearing ZERO accountability. If you loose money, it is because of you. If you make money it is because of their recommendations. This is the way they work. So be safe and have a safe Investment, Happy Investing....
