Ashok B Jain (Representative of Promoters Group) has informed the Exchange that Jalgaon Investments Pvt. Ltd. (member of Promoters Group represented by Shri Ashok B Jain) proposes to acquire 8,41,000 shares aggregating to 1.17% of the shares/voting rights of Jain Irrigation Systems Limited from Shri Atul B Jain. The mode of proposed acquisition is by way of Inter-se Promoter Transfer and the date of proposed acquisition is April 28, 2008. The proposed acquisition price per share is proposed to be an off market transaction. The shareholding of Jalgaon Investments Pvt. Ltd. (member of Promoters Group represented by Shri Ashok B Jain) after the proposed acquisition would be 11,296,000 shares aggregating to 15.66% of the shares/voting rights of Jain Irrigation Systems Limited.
