I am posting this message once again for all boarders & Pandumanu Sir :

Price when posted : BSE: Rs 434.90 ( -0.22 % ), NSE: Rs. 435.00 ( -0.10 % )

Pandumanu Sir : Please examine very closely the Total annual sales to the Market Capitalisation ratio of NMDC vis-a-vis other companies.

At closing prices today, NMDC stands at no: 5 in Total Market Capitalisation with a total annual sales of 7564 Cr.

Now take a look at the next 5 companies at total market capitalistion numbers 6 to 10. Their total annual sales are : SBI (63788 Cr.), Infosys (20264 Cr.), TCS (22404 Cr.), Bharti Airtel (34014 Cr.) & BHEL (28713 Cr.)(All figures are for Year ended March 2009)

Part of the reason that NMDC commands such high total market capitalisation is due low floating stock and operators moving the price. Sure, NMDC is a cash rich company with high profit margins and many projects in the pipeline, but they
will take time to reflect on the balance sheet.

Pandumanu Sir, do you still see adequate reason/s to value NMDC at the current prices ?...

Ashapura Minechem to resume the sale & export of Bauxite......Great News for Ashapuara Minechem....recommend a strong buy at CMP.....Buy Buy Buy

Posted by : world investor

Chetan Shah MD of Ashapura Minechem has stated that the export of bauxite use to be 60% of the revenues of the company prior to the export ban...

With the exports being resumed the company will once again see robust sales and profits...

He also stated that there has been an increase of 15% in prices compared to last 3 months prices...

Ashapuara Minechem is putting up a Rs.3000 crore Aluminia Refinery in Gujrat where GMDC will have upto 26% stake in the company and another investor will be apartner in the refinery...

The next 6 months will prove to be a great upside in the revenues for Ashapura Minechem...

The target of Ashpura Minechem after all these forecasts and value addition should be anything between Rs.120 - 150.....

New management is sorting out all issues quickly and positively.
CBI charge sheets etc are bound to be Negative for Rajus (expectedly) but will be positive for M`Satyam as a company.
So, there is no point in panic selling merely based on such LONG EXPECTED NEWS and bringing down the Share price on the date of the news.Any way, whoever BUYs now - will benefit....

Thanks, Shubham. I can see several differences in what we consider important. However, the main thing is to base important decisions upon objective criteria. I am sure this list would be useful for all of us.

Comatose,

To be frank, when i made my initial investment for 1500 Shares, it was purely based on discussion between you & Rumple and other boarders. This was when the share price was around 42. I sold these share at 52.

Then i bought shares again in the range of 95 to 141, after doing my analysis come out with below observations.

1. Valuation - p/e between 4-6 when most of the s/w companies were trading 15-25.

2. Very good growth year on year.

3. Constant increase in Book value.

4. Morgan Stanly had a big holding.

5. Selling unique Product which other indian companies were not into.

6. Increasing usage of mobile in daily life.

7. Company might get benifitted from National unique ID project.

8. FII Share holding remained unchanged during peak of recession, which proved that they believe in company and its growth.

9. Technical chart for past 3 years suggested that there is huge room for share price to move up.

10. Finally, i feel that there is price war going on between the telecom operators, few telecom operators will think of giving value added services to its customers and hence Geo might be benifitted with its products.

I think this Dec-09 quater will bring gr8 results.

Leave all that crap of your children business . it is u who have bought it and not your children . secondly it is your greed to hold RIL so u should not blame MDA for the same . Nobody enters markets on premises that this is the most pious stock . If u belong to this category . Kindly move out . Everytime u have one or the other reason for blaming MDA . factually u have a personality problem and cannot decide on what u want in life . U talk in a language which losers in life resort to when they have not achieved anything credible on their own strength . Either move out or stay put without any nonsense . If U are iN RIL means u r with MDA so do not pretend to be somewhat different . If u stongly abhor MDA then stand by your conviction and step out . Dont go blah blah all the time and enjoy the benefit by being invested in RIL . I hope it is clear . ...

I have no idea of the valuation of ril EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CHEATING business. I hold it in my childrens demat account for long term capital gains and will take a view on disposal or retention depending on market conditions. Since it has reached long term status I may dispose of the same exbonus and buy back in case of market dipping appreciably. This will reduce their holdings and also provide a possible opportunity to pick it up on downside. My holding RIL is IN SPITE OF THE CHEATING NATURE OF MUKESH.

radhika_nandlal - As you might have heard that in 2004 Mukesh became MDA of RIL and was given much more power than the definistion of companies` act which was a constant embarrasment to Anil.

I think this identity crisis invariably happens to more than 95% rich families. The parents ought to have divided when the father was alive.

That is the failing!

Anyway I don`t think that HSC will go through the MOU itself since that will amount to another trial which has to be decided first by HHC.

I don`t support anyone personally however millions of shareholders are dragged into this quite needlessly.

I walked into RIL quite unknowingly that there was some serious enough dispute. In this global recession hit market I still have to come to terms about when to exit RIL if at all.

As such whatever I have touched after giving up Bank of India, Corporation Bank and L&T with quite heavy profits I am unable to pick any other multibagger stock. I picked up SIEMENS and now in loss of around 6% still and CESC where I bough at 247 sold at 400 and rebought partly at 360 now around 3% up.

I gave up my favourite MASTEK at a loss and now it rebounds way up on my face.

So while I am defending and holding on to RIL I am looking for other stocks but since I failed to do so I am doing a strange thing with FnO. I must tell you I have made a decent amount with NIFTY from 4650 levels and tehn going short on every major resistance point. Somehoe resistance calls of experts work much better than support points!

So I am not supporting anyone anymore. I can give up a major holding in RIL just as easily.

I don`t like the talk that if you had sold RIL and bought so and so then you would have held RIL for free. All I know is that I bought RIL majorly at Rs 1,000 and because it was RIL I bought a huge quantity even with a slight leverage. I could not have done ...
