as a fellow investor I can say that what you are saying is vaild but not surprising. it`s n`t that as if HUL tea people dont know that tea division or Tazza or red label is on a market share and sales losing spree in top cities like Hyderabad (Sapat tea 2d`s attcaked), Nasik (sapat tea`s stronghold), Baroda-Ahmedabad(Wagh bakri`s stronghold), Pune (again girnar and sapat and society attack redlabel), DElhi (wagh bakri and sapat killing red label slowly), nagpur(duncans) - all top tea markets are losing ground for HUL. but HUL people are just too lazy to fight the local players hands on in market place, instead they sit inj a/c office and we lose share price.

The stock of HUL may fall to below 200 in coming sessins.... over all slow down and liquidity problem in the system may hurt its sales in coming quarters....
Many people are not having money at the moment, where is the question of buying cosmotics,ice creams and other costly items.... many indians suffereing for survival and not able to buy their essential daily needs like rice,vegetables and oher provisions in the present high rates....
There are reports saying that the retai sector is not doing well at pesent wwhich will show direct impact on this company....
So,investors will have to take cautious note on this stock in coming sessions.......

HUL`s packet tea division, especially it`s flagship brand Red Label and Tazza are a complete let down. While regional players like Wagh Bakri and Sapat are successfully winning new territorries like Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad markets, Red Label is consistently losing its usiness in these high potential cities. Red Label tea`s volume loss will; reflect in HUL`s overall reduced turnovers..

HUL should grow top line at 15% and achieve NPM of 13% or more. Therefore it should be able to declare net profit of close to Rs 2100 or an EPS of more than Rs 9.5 for 12 month period. I am also confident that the co should be able to declare bonus at the ratio of 1:1 sooner than later.
