Maithan Alloys Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 23, 2008, inter alia, has transacted the following:

1. Board has recommended a dividend of 20% on equity shares of Rs 10/- each and 10% on preference shares of Rs 100/- each for the F.Y. 2007-08 subject to approval of members in the Annual General Meeting.

2. The Board has approved the delisting of shares from Ahmedabad Stock Exchange subject to approval of members in the Annual General Meeting.

3. The AGM of the Company will be held on September 06, 2008.

4. Mr. Vikash Kumar Jewrajka is appointed as Additional Director (independent) of the Company.
