Dear Bhavani,

I had seen a message from MOD to HLN asking an explanation as to why he is deleting good messages. I do not know as to what happened after that. Why not the MOD redflag the ones who are deleting good messages?

Coming to think of suggestions from various boarders on Guest I.D's and deletion of messages, I do not expect any positive response from MMB. MMB is also a truly commercial venture and what they need is the quantity of messages and quality becomes secondary. We may talk of the obvious things. But reality is different. These things will go on and on and we will continue to protest for ever. There is nothing more than that to happen. The present changes made in the board makes it more difficult for the boarders and still MMB is firm in the changes. You have the right to say your opinion and they have the right of refusal.

I am told that there is a wall in China and heaps of srones will be available near it. When some body gets anguish against the government they are allowed to pelt stones at the wall till they vent out their feelings. For a change we are allowed to write messages here about the irregularities. You are at liberty to write as many messages as you can and try to vent out your anguishness, of course if the deleter in chief allows you to get cooled. It is a win win for MMB.

regards

nadhi ...

Uncle, are you sure the MOD knows who has deleted a specific message? Is there a cache of deleted messages with a tag on who has deleted it?

This is more for technical information, we\\`ve been through this rigmarole of messages performing the disappearing act right from times immemorial and posts from rational thinking without vested interests will continue to experience it till the cows come home. Come to think of it, almost any statement of fact is bound to show up the dubious credentials of someone else. That person finds it most convenient to remove the presence of this piece of evidence of his duplicity for whatever reason. And, of course, Hind Lever Nut of EWT fame is a very, very old acquaintance to so many of us.

I recall the first post of mine that disappeared, a long itme ago, was merely reiteration of dollar rupee conversion rates at monthly rests; and a smart aleck Fx trader found that this readily available data was throwing up the inaccuracies of his/her wise cracks of the preceding few weeks.

See mkt downside at 10%, upside at 18,500: IDFC SSKI

Pathik Gandotra of IDFC SSKI believes the strong pullback rally may be over and said that a correction is likely now and that valuations with a one year perspective is still cheap. He sees a 10% downside from the current levels and sees the 18500 level on the upside for the Sensex. He added that the yield on the 10 year bond could fall to 8.5%.

most opportune time to buy stocks as risk is receding inflation is nearing its peak, speculative money is out from commodities stocks have fallen 60-70% from their all time high and trading at a attractive valuation bumper rabi crop and due to excellent monsoon bumper kharif crop is in waiting that will contribute significantly in gdp growth and will fill up the gap of some slow down in other sectors hopefully dr reddy will learn from the mistakes of greenspan former governor of federal reserve who increased the interest rates 15 times in a row that led to the fall of financials and plunged america in deep recession...

Stock Market is a place where you get lot of good scrips which are undervalued. You just have to bend and pick the right one. Take care that your wallet does not slip out of your pocket! (Warren Buffet) Certainly I will like to keep one hand on wallet and pick the right ones. I also appreciate CNBC Tem in helping me in this journey. ...

Yes nightowl,
Someone is senselessly deleting messages here on this thread left right and centre just because it does not fall into his taste. I know exactly who it is, but do not want to take up names coz that will rake up a grave. I have seen someone with ur ID on another forum - TSR. Are you the same person ?

He is still giving buy calls despite of clear downtrend. Clearly he has no clue what is going on really, his guess work proved once again. People should not follow this nonsense.

Joetom,

19 Aug 2008:-It seems the markets behaved undecided and nervous. All my targets and levels were nowhere near. The closing at almost the lower end indicates correction to go on. European markets were flat but US markets were pulled down drastically by the Financial stocks. Unconfirmed negative reports from the financial counters attributed this fall. Oil cooling down further and dollar going stronger will help our markets however, the deep cuts in US will also have some say.

Supports: 14556-14467-14355 Resistances: 14825-14962

Open: 14531 Low: 14385 High: 14821 Close: 14478

Though I suggested earlier to buy balance 50% of investible funds at 14500 level for medium/long term, same may be restricted to 25% of the corpus. We will utilise balance 25% as and when we get a bullish signal which is above 14962 and unlikely to trigger today.

Dear Balu,

I appreciate your this msg of yours where you have tryed to clear the misunderstanding with joetom.

It is a good idea. Let us try to make this world a bit better with our efforts.

When Joetom is taking so much pain in writing so much in detail we can at least avoiding criticising.

All the best.

Nish where do we move now? Nifty is near your levels of 4310 so you expect it to touch 4800 now or should we wait for it to drift lower from 4300 levels? Please continue your good work and ignore your detractors.

Hmm.. had you been smart, uncle that you are, you wouldnt have had been on this board writing day and night even during market hours.. spinning stories with no FA/TA/facts, trying to endorse your views on people, making them believe in your trades..

I think regulators are also not in favor of P-note restrictions. Because it didnt go well as expected & in fact it made the market more volatile & inflation prone. So. PNs could be removed in some time to come....
