Subsidy has been released in cash. Second instalment also will be paid in cash. Fertiliser stoks are in fire. Fer cos has agreed to operate at full capacity.

Govt may come out with more gifts to the industry to keep the farmers happy before the elections.

Nag fert may cross resistances at 48,50 and 52.

Murthy madam your comments and projections on Nagarjuna

I have read that in many places. The one I remember is today's Deccan Chronicle. Page 15 DC - CHENNAI

INDIA’S UREA subsidy bill may decline by as much as 43 per cent in the next four years on the back of a likely fall in the fertiliser prices by a whopping $300 in international markets, a report says. Urea prices are expected to decline to around $400 per tonne by 2012 in sync with a fall in crude oil prices, a report by credit rating agency Crisil stated. Currently, urea trades at over $700 per tonne in international markets, it adds. So, any fall in prices in global markets is likely to reduce the country’s import bill. In 2007-08, India imported about nine million tons of urea, which at current prices work out to a subsidy

It states that Subsidy may fall by 43 %. In that case is it beneficial to the manufacturer. I know it should be a head blow for the dealers who stock the fertiliser and increase the price.

Thanks.

Dear Jaiii

Sir
Can you give links about worldwide analysts .. for the sake of boarders please post the analysts recs.
Suppose they are right... our fertiliser prices are in wide parity with the international ones. Infact the fall in international market may rise fertiliser prices available dead cheap here . Nagfert has completed 3rd wave technically and poised for upmove. As of now (today technicals) the fertiliser sector has turned around showing signs of surge... ofcourse it may be one of the tricks played by bear cartel and bears are confused and frightened as I see, bull cartel appears to be ready to pick up the stock whenever it is down. Till now it is swinging with the market adding more of OI.. by afternoon I think a 8 - 9 % surge can not be ruled out.

I hold and trade

Stock market analysts are of the view that investors can buy Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd stock to achieve a short term target of Rs 52.

According to analysts, interested investors can purchase the stock above Rs 42.8 with a strict stop loss of Rs 39.5.

Today (August 08), the shares of the company opened at Rs 40.45 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Current EPS and P/E stood at 0.52 and 79.64 respectively. The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 89 and a low of Rs 22.80 on BSE.

The stock has much potential to climb to the target price as the company has good growth prospects considering its projects under implementation and influential future plans.
If it sustains above 52 the shortterm target would be 60 and can even go and retest its previous heighs provided the market stabilizes from here on.
Cheers.....

Dear bcp

Sir .
Thanks for your response and I totally agree with you.

Ever since winning voc by the Govt ,market has already factored in (and not expecting any reforms by the Govt.) Otherwie with the crude tocuhing new lows nifty should have done better. I strongly feel Nifty is going through minor reactions before another surge.

Our oil wells will be having quality crude ( read as sulphur free ) in due course. As some one reported ... the Psunami brought a slight change in the earth axis... the result... continental drift and changes in the earths crust . The crude from oil rich countries wells may flow towards indian off-shore wells. Black Gold rush.

Dear Adwaith,

I like your spirit. Opening up of the pansion funds would require the Bill to be passed by the parliament. We are in days of political uncertainty and certainly the Govt will not like to float a money bill in the Parliament as failing of money bill means falling of the Govt. BJP shall oppose it as already said. I am not too optimistic about major reforms till the next elections.
