Power Finance Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that in continuation of the MOU signed by Power Finance Corporation Ltd on August 08, 2008 to set up and operate a Power Exchange at national level, a Joint Venture Agreement has been signed between Power Finance Corporation Ltd., NTPC Ltd., NHPC Ltd. and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd on September 03, 2008 for incorporating a Joint Venture Company. The Company shall be registered with ROC as a Public Limited Company with an authorised share capital of Rs 50 crore. The Company would provide a neutral and transparent electronic platform for trading power on day ahead basis and ensure clearing of all trades in a transparent, fair and open manner with access to all players in the power markets....
