I think there r last destroy factor (dubai real state crisis) for real state sector. Our mkt is falling becuase of negative global cues but personally Sentiments for indian mkts r not negative. i think investment in real state sector in this time is like to purchase gold @ 8000. What do u think?

Here comes the super predictions of mine hitting bulls-eye in the Lok Sabha Plls, not the Stock Markets. Apart from lifaylon, I did not see any others making a daring statement about the chances of UPA returning to power. Given below is a copy/paste of my predictions:-

I know zero politics but Gujarat is Gujarat not because of BJP but because of business cities like Jamnagar. Now there is Nano manufacturing too. You have A Ambani in Karnataka? Drunk playboys in toy airlines do not count. Brown collar BPO does not mean much either.

Exactly one year back 170 innocent Indians lives were lost in the terrorist attack in Mumbai.
The lone terrorist to be arrested has been kept in custody till now in spite of him pleading guilty and asked for the punishment.
Today`s TOI reports that the state govt of Maharashtra has spent about RS 31 crores for the SAFE KEEPING of this terrorist named Ajmal Kasab.This works out to be a mind boggling Rs 8.75 lakhs per day!!!And the expenses are still mounting.
Any middle east country, had a similar incident happened in their region,would have spent a bullet on the killer on the very next day and given Rs 18 lakhs exgratia to the family of each of the 170 victims making the total Rs 31 cr.
Shame on you the GOI and your home ministry!
How one can be patriotic under such rulers?

Yedi has given Mittal not one but three choices for his steel plant in Karantaka.
Karantaka under BJP will shortly be another Gujarat
The congress politicking will have no effect here coz i have sought favors from Nandlal in return for my devotion. No barter this. Nandlal will agree.

Yes, the latest Census figures indicate that Jewish-Americans are the richest ethinic minority in the USA. The next on that list? It is Southeast Asian-Indian- Americans. Unfortunately, this latter group is still predominantly a 1st generatio immigrants and is highly fragmented to make meaningful political policy impact. But they are symbolically in white house now. I would not have believed even this was possible 35 years ago.

The embattled Dubai government has successfully raised a further USD 5 billion from two Abu Dhabi banks as part of its long-term bond programme, signalling that investors are still showing trust in the oil-rich city-state.
The Dubai government has successfully raised a further USD 5 billion from two Abu Dhabi banks on Wednesday as part of its USD 20 billion long-term bond programme launched at the beginning of 2009.
Quoting Al Hilal Bank chief executive Mohammad J Berro, Gulf News said, "USD 500 million was released to the Dubai government by Al Hilal Bank on Wednesday. The remainder will follow," he added.
Berro further said "we have subscribed to Sukuk worth USD 2.5 billion because Dubai has come strongly out of the financial crisis. The tenure is five years and the coupon rate is four per cent, which is a good return."
This fund raising is despite the fact that investors are concerned over the huge debt burden of Dubai World, an investment company that manages and supervises a portfolio of businesses and projects for the Dubai government.
On November 26, Dubai World said it would ask creditors for a "standstill" on paying back its USD 59 billion debt until at least May.
Citing Al Mal Capital fund manager, the Gulf News said "the market expects Dubai to raise another USD 5 billion soon which will take care of some of Dubai`s debt and lift the confidence of the investors

Dubai world and Nikkil Group have total debt of 59bl dollar. Dubai govt total debt 8000cr dollar. Abudabi the neighbour of dubai has surplus fund 69bl dollar and it can help to takeout dubai from crisis. And it is not default payment it is only delay payment. Fundamentally this crisis cannot make high impact on global. But this news fell the investor sentiments due to which all global mkts is falling

I am more than happy to discuss on various topics. Life is not "only about money", there are so many other important things in life.
It is infact a good idea to start a blog / Forum, that way many people will know about it and will come forward to share their views. A healthy discussion is always enriching.
I have noticed a few interesting posts under this "Ideas for You" Topic, Post by "karshin" are very interesting and touching.

Hi brawnym!
If we were to start a thread by the name `PRJ Ideas` the topics that I would like to discuss matters that are far removed from shares. For money, like food, is only required as much for sustenance, good grooming & education and maybe for a few small indulgences or luxuries. Beyond that, it does not get its proportionate value.
Issues closer to my heart are many. Like lifestyle adoption to deal with the pressures of modern living where I feel, the solution is to lead a `Hindu` way of life.
To solve our medical problems we have `Ayurveda`, to maintain ourselves in good physical state we have ``Hatha Yoga`, to oversome our stresses and for harmony of mind we have Meditation and Pranayama. Vegetarianism (I do favour `veganism` wherein you do not have any animal product, including milk)will aid solution to the looming food crisis as about 13 kilos of grains are consumed by most animals to produce a kilo of meat. Their consumption of these grains which are heavy on chemical fertilisers and pesticides increases the concentration of chemicals in our body when we consume animal meat.
In fact, leading a `Hindu` way of life (this can be practised by people of all religions.Hinduism, as they say, is not a religion, but `a way of life`) is the solution for mankind ahead.
Then other topics are alternate sources of energy, combating environmental pollution and global warming, empowerment and enriching of rural population.
Unluckily, I cannot talk about all these as the forum is only about investments (which is so small a issue in comparison to the much larger and wonderful issues I mentioned). Maybe one day I will begin a separate forum elsewhere for such discussions.
We will get back here to the business of making money.
