Our very strong buy recommendation to grab in futures today is based on some reliable sources which confirms covering of huge short today along with execution of HUGE buy order and also all technical indicators points the same!!! Unbelievable that stock is lying at these levels .. Just grab this stock at the opening bell today … 25 to 100 lots …any qty... hold for just few days and see a major breaking news on the tv screen …Stock will zoom to our upper target of Rs.2245, Rs.2070 which is to be watched inititally. Crossover with volumes will take stock straightaway to Rs.2300, Rs.2328 mark very soon.

Both are very good stock in themselves.

I prefer L&T it has lots of subsidaries whose value unlocking can really push the stock proces thru roof. They had plans to list L&T Infotech for example. Or even better any demerger activity and/or investments they have and booking out some profit for e.g. Satyam / Banglore Airport etc....

Order of Rs 2.05 bn

Posted by : rvk41
Price when posted : BSE: Rs 2322.50 ( -1.15 % ), NSE: Rs. 2321.30 ( -1.07 % )

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) bagged an order worth Rs 2.05 billion in the Middle East region for a 126 MW Gas Turbine Generating Unit from Oman.

The order envisages supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of one number state-of-the-art 126 MW Gas Turbine generating unit for a power project being set up by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) at Qarn Alam, nearly 400 kms from Muscat.

Following the receipt of an order in May 2009 for supply of 2x126 MW Gas Turbine generating units for Amal Power Station, this is the second order secured by BHEL as part of the six-year `Price Agreement (Rate Contract) for 126 MW rating Gas Turbine Generator packages` with PDO, signed in January 2009.

The Sultanate of Oman is BHEL`s key export market and has been a springboard for entry in the Middle East region with benchmark references established in Oman. With the present order, BHEL will have the unique distinction of having 16 Gas Turbine sets installed in Oman alone.

This contract will further enhance BHEL?s long-term visibility in the overseas petroleum sector for power plant equipment, which may pave the way for similar opportunities from the hydrocarbon exploration and production majors worldwide.

IS IT WORTH TO BUY BHEL

Posted by : jaggihs
Price when posted : BSE: Rs 2349.55 ( 0.09 % ), NSE: Rs. 2346.35 ( 0.05 % )

At present price it may not be a worthwhile buy. Probably IDFC or even REC may give a better return. Buy BHEL below 2000 if it reaches there. Similarly but IDFC below 125....
