Icici said to be having having lot of exposure to companies like satyam which may effect its financials very badly in coming terms.... so,investors will have to be careful with this stock at present price.... few observers feel icici bank also may have the problems like satyam in their accounts....

Loans , Housing loans and credit card dues cannot be recovered by ICICI. ICICI exposure to satyam computers by way loan is to be written off . Sell Satyam and buy IFCI and IDFC...

I thought it wont cross 470 but now it`s near 550 which is a wonderfull price to sell but not to buy. Even if you`d bought it higher than the current price sell it now & buy it after a 100 rupee correction which is surely possible....

Icici Bank Ltd has informed the Exchange that pursuant to section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956 read with the Companies (Passing of the Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2001, the following special resolutions are proposed to be passed by means of postal ballot: (1) Ordinary Resolution for appointment of Mr. K.V. Kamath as a Director. (2) Ordinary Resolution for payment of remuneration of Mr. K.V. Kamath as non-executive Chairman. (3) Ordinary Resolution for appointment of Ms. Chanda D. Kochhar as a Director (4) Ordinary Resolution for re-appointment of Ms. Chanda D. Kochhar as Joint Managing Director & CFO and appointment as Managing Director & CEO. The Bank has appointed Mr. Jatin Popat, Proprietor, JSP Associates, Practising Company Secretary as Scrutinizer for conducting the postal ballot process in a fair and transparent manner. The dully filled postal ballot should reach the Scrutinizer on or before February 11, 2009. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Chairman or any whole time Director or the Company Secretary or the Joint Company Secretary of the Bank authorized by the Bank, will announce the Results on February 13, 2009.
