people just what FIIS are investing. Just counting the number and not the details of investing areas. If FIIS pull out from Call option and buy Put option, we mean it as they are bearish. While people were just watching Net investments!!!!!!!!!!!
One Rule of Mullishness is stocks showing all-round skepticism while one rule of BEARISHNESS is stocks showing heavy all-round optimism!!!
One more tool to gaze the market sentiment is Put/Call ratios.....
High Put/Call ratio shows Bullish trend and vis-a vis.
However our analyst were engaged in supporting games of Operators. Just shouting "Indian growth story is intact" dosen`t make indices to keep going up and up. Dicoupling story was spread to cheat all of us.. There were many more stories , however, why only this theory was given more spread on media???????
Lot of other ill signs were pointing out towards one of the dipest recession in the world economy since 1937. But we wre rather more optimistic than standing on the facts of the Global economy.
Us fed and govet were trying to create more and more liquidity in the system ,however, it had never spread to the common man who was facing liquidity crunch in real sense.
While In india Our Fm was checking liquidity from the system!!!! and talking about chcking inflow. he should have learn the lession from chines market crash. This crash was solely associated to the steps China took to restrict short term inflow with single motive to control volatility. Another point of concern for China was to control inflation and over heating. We had none of that issue, still we followed ther style( I must say Doom FM only )..
Any way, I will rest here for a while...
I had already suggested what shall be the bottom. However, Economy it self can decide where is the bottom... 50 % retracement is one tool to gaze the limit. It may or may not work. At any point of time, you have to take decision and have to face the same question. Why not resort to the Trial and Error method ?? If we are wrong who stops us to exit??? but If we prove correct, technically bounce back can be of minimum 37 % in one or two stages!!!!!!!!!!!
Please read my posting where is the bottom.

Dear sp.palo,
Ihave already posted one message about WHAT CAN BE THE Bottom. Howevevr, you may read it as what shall be the bottom........
Turmoil cuntinues globally. We have seen FIIS , (Probably hedge Funds are aggresive entratnt and same while they exit )shrinking their exposures from Global markets. It is not that much important to have informations. More importantly we should have some insight to understand what is exactly happening and reasons drivening this happenings.
Last year in the month of March 2007 people came to know SUB-PRIME Issue. many of the Indian analyst still do not understand how US credits are managed. before 2007, US had seen two years of BOOM in reality investment. Many having low credentials or adverse credit ratings were offered finance for investments in reality sector. CITI GROUP is most greedy banking company to offer such credits/loans with 5 % more rate of interest. It was sen that those wo opt for such finance were getting around 25-37 % profits in reality sector investments. Most of them had no capacity to pull up with EMI for more than a year!!!!!!!. Once this sector cracked, EMI plus margins on revaluations were asked from the lonee.
They found it proper keep hands off from the asset, because valuations were cracked as much as 45-50 % in the market. Many of the finance companies engaged in this business had reverse mortgadge taken while citi group was trapped more diply because of it wanted to eat whole of the LADDU...........
This credit crises extended later to credit card payments. We know citi group sold its 6 % stake of shares to Govt of ABU DHABI to mobilise resources to cope up with the stucked resources and liquidity crunch. fed added fuels each time cutting rate signaling ill health of the Us economy. hedge funds , which were seating on huge profits started exiting globally. Their entry and exits are always aggressive shaking balance of the economies to which they have exposures.......
Despite all these, our Indices were scaling higher and higher.....
Why ????? best known to every one. On one hand winding up and on the second hand building reverse positions!!!!!!!
Conti...... on page 2...

What`s bad for the economy is good for the environment. Higher gas prices keep more people from driving and therefore decrease pollution. Higher food prices create less food waste because people budget. Fewer retail shoppers overall means fewer goods are produced and less manufacturing takes place. The energy to operate those manufacturing plants is then saved. And this energy comes mostly from coal plants that create vast amounts of carbon emissions that lead to global warming.
When employees get laid off, more trees are even saved. The average employee uses about 10,000 sheets of paper annually. That paper comes from trees.
You get the picture. The more we have to think about what we consume, the less we actually do consume. We even tend to reuse and save more during hard times. Retail stores are reporting lackluster sales. If people aren`t buying new stuff they are reusing their old stuff.
It would be nice if we saved by choice rather than force. But that hasn`t happened. We have been piggish with all of our natural resources, and have been positively gluttons with our financial resources. Is it any wonder that we are in the predicament we are in?
We cannot fully blame the government. We cannot fully blame the financial community. It`s time we blamed ourselves. We have been living in a state of blissful ignorance and selfishness for so long we are shocked and dismayed at the prospect of sacrifice, or changing our habits. Earth to mankind: stop fooling yourselves.
We are going to need to change, big time, the ways in which we go through life. We are going to have to be conscious and conscientious about our actions and the ramifications of those actions, whether it`s the wake up calls many are getting about the artificially high prices of their homes or the alarm that the climate is changing because of the increased amount of pollution we are putting into the air.
We need to open our eyes. For example, we have known for many years the world`s supply of oil is dwindling and that it is going to cost more to extract it -- where and when we can find it. Let`s not get caught up in the smoke and mirrors of more drilling in more areas on the hope -- hope! -- that more oil will come. We need to get real and by extension realize that we need alternatives, fast.
All wet
We also need to face up to the $3 trillion proposition of fixing our water infrastructure and management systems in this country, a task most politicians turn their heads away from. We waste up to 40% of the municipal water supplies in many cities because of leaks and mismanagement. With 36 states facing emergency droughts over the next five years, according to the Bush administration, mind you, we must shore up our supplies of fresh water.
Updating the Clean Water Act would be a nice start. And getting the 90 cities that dump sewage into the Great Lakes, which supply 10% of the U.S. population with fresh water, to stop are strong beginnings. But such legislation never gets enough support. Water shortages ripple into agricultural problems and food shortages.
The time to get real and heal the planet -- our natural capital -- as well as our economy -- our financial capital -- is now. They go hand in hand you know. It`s no coincidence that ecology and economy have the same prefix.
Eco comes from the Greek, oikos, which means house. We are being told in no uncertain terms to get our houses in order. Or we may lose them. The irony is that the financial crisis may help us to keep our common home, Planet Earth.

Have you Heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed?
The ship`s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.
Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster.
He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship`s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life.
He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for Five thousand dollars.
"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer .. $ 2.00
Knowing where to ......... $ 4998.00

Dear Atheist,
At the outset........ I started to read your msg and havnt ! Its too depressing and purposeless, in my context, coz I am a believer..
And you ,my friend are very angry...living in a perpetual “Monday morning blues syndrome”.
This comes to you not for the sake of arguement, straight from my heart, verbattim,so I hope you will excuse the errors
My Mom who is the saintliest person I know is in the throes of Alzheimer’s .She doesn’t know me anymore..I should be very bitter ,but I thank God that he has taken away all her worldly worries away from her..
My brother was assassinated by Naga milltants in cold blood. It was painful. Extremely painful. I cant say how one lets go or heals one`s heart. But I had to forget about my pain and be there for his wife and two sons..so that I could be a constructive ,positive influence in their lives and not just rave and rant against God for doing this to us..
I am a Cancer survivor...well not completely ,but I think /I hope I am there. There are so many other unfair episodes I cannot share with you here . ....
But I still do believe there is someone up there..maybe i need to believe it. We suffer because of our beliefs, like the young don’t die, like there should be no suffering in the world etc. We believe in all this and end up hurting ourselves . I love my mom ,but don’t pity her. I believe she had to go through this. Yes I need to be with her, and give her my best. I tell her silly jokes ,and I think I am her favourite” stranger”. We listen to music, I take her to the Gurudwara. I could just as easily be angry, And make life miserable for her and myself , by saying why ? WHY?? WHY?? Would that help her? You go through what you have to, and for me HE knows best. And it works for me.
What or who is God? To me ,it is a kind of ‘code of conduct” ,and how we conduct ourselves ,making our lives and other`s lives as happy as possible. If there was no God, we /I would have invented one. Who needs him? The weak, the timid, the disturbed, the despairing, the lonely, the fearless, the seeker of truth, we all need him to remove the despair, to give us hope ....
I think its natural to go through the phase you are going through. It is good to explore your spirituality, provoke your conscience, and then recognise the obvious and relevant .I hope you have a homecoming of sorts, and your faith in Him ,is deeper and stronger than ever.I hope you too start to believe that God is” for me” and not “against” me.
God Bless my friend and take care.

Quoting from the Net
OCCULTISM AND SONIA GANDHI
The consequences of Sonia Gandhi becoming the "Eminence Grise", as
the French say, of India, that is the one who controls everything
from behind the scenes, are not only visible for all those who care
to look, but also occult, subtle, invisible, yet having far reaching
and maybe irreversible consequences. Occultism, in the ancient
sense, was the manipulation of forces which cannot be seen, but
which constantly clash in the world. In fact one could say that
politics is the art of controlling these forces, overtly and
covertly. At the top, great leaders create their own occultism:
their very presence generates certain atmospheres which make or
unmake revolutions.
At the outset, one should first say that the world is not Black &
White, Good and Evil, Superman versus the bad guys, as the Americans
would like us to believe. Hindu groups need not demonize Sonia. She
probably was a good wife to Rajiv, a good daughter in law to Indira -
and by all accounts, she is a good mother to her children, judging
by the way they dote on her. One also hears first-hand reports about
her concern for smaller people, her dignity in the suffering that
befell her when her husband was blown to pieces, and her courtesy
with visitors.
This said, what is happening in India at the moment, makes me
profoundly uneasy. I am a Westerner and a born Christian. Yet I find
it absurd that in a country of one billion people, one of the most
ancient civilizations of this world, Indians cannot find an Indian
to govern themselves. There are many good and talented people within
the Congress and one wonders what is this unconscious, occult urge,
which makes them look-up to someone, who however good-willing, is
alien - if not hostile - to their own culture.
Let`s first look at the visible, overt consequences of Sonia
Gandhi`s supreme leadership. There is of course the Iraqi oil-for-
food scam. I know Anil Maitrani well: he is a somehow likeable,
highly ambitious man, who got caught in his own web of intrigues.
Yet, it is an open secret that the go ahead for the Iraqi trip of
Natwar Singh, his son and his acolyte came directly from Sonia
through her trusted aides. There is also a strong speculation that
Sonia Gandhi controls today so much money through the various Gandhi
trusts, on top of slush funds nobody knows about, that there lies
her ultimate power. And what about Kashmir? Experts says that
Islamic militants do not need anymore to risk crossing from Pakistan
over dangerous mountain ranges and being shot at by Indian soldiers,
they only have to board the Muzaffarabad- Srinagar bus, or cross the
LOC under false identities and papers with the connivance of the
Pakistani Rangers ! Mr Musharraf has dazzled the West, who laid
everywhere a red carpet for him. Is the man who conceived Kargil
sincere ? Pervez is a clever magician: nobody in India has found
anything to say that he is actually holding talks with the Hurryat
leaders, who want Kashmir to separate from India - and most likely
go to Pakistan ! There is in India an obsession and a fear of
Pakistan, a small country who has lost the four wars it initiated
with India.
Let`s come to the covert, occult signs. I am a little uneasy when I
see how much Christianity is taking over India under the reign of
Sonia Gandhi : according to a 2001 census, there are about 2.34
million Christians in India ; not even 2,5% of the nation, a
negligible amount. Yet there are today five Christian chief
ministers in Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Kerala and Andhra
Pradesh. One should add that the majority of politicians in Sonia
Gandhi`s closed circle are either Christians or Muslims. She seems
to have no confidence in Hindus. Ambika Soni, a Christian, is
General Secretary of the Congress and a very powerful person, with
close access to Sonia Gandhi. Oscar Fernandes is Union Programme
Implementation Minister. Margaret Alwa is the eminence grise of
Maharasthra. Karnataka is virtually controlled by AK Anthony, whose
secretaries are all from the Southern Christian association. Valson
Thampu, a Hindu hater, is Chairman NCERT curriculum Review
Committee, John Dayal, another known Hindu baiter, has been named by
Sonia Gandhi in the National Integration Council ; and Kancha Ilaya,
who hates Hindus, is being allowed by the Indian Government to lobby
with the UN and US Congress so that caste discrimination in India is
taken-up by these bodies.
I share with Sonia a love for India, like her I have lived in this
country for over 30 years and like her I have married an Indian. But
nevertheless, since she is at the top, Christian conversions in
India seem to have gone in overdrive. More than 4,000 foreign
Christian missionaries are involved in conversion activities across
different states. In Tripura, there were no Christians at
independence, there are 120.000 today, a 90% increase since 1991.
The figures are even more striking in Arunachal Pradesh, where there
were only 1710 Christians in 1961, but 1,2 million today, as well as
780 churches! In Andhra Pradesh, churches are coming-up every day in
far flung villages and there was even an attempt to set-up one near
Tirupati. Many of the North-East separatist movements, such as the
Mizo or the Bodos, are not only Christian dominated, but also
sometimes function with the covert backing of the missionaries. In
Kerala, particularly in the poor coastal districts, you
find "miracle boxes" put in local churches: the gullible villager
writes out a paper mentioning his wish: a fishing boat, a loan for a
pukka house, fees for the son`s schooling… And lo, a few weeks
later, the miracle happens ! And of course the whole family
converts, making others in the village follow suit. During the
Tsunami, entire dalit villages in Tamil Nadu were converted to
Christianity with the lure of money
Then there is this rapid Westernization of India. There are good
things in the West: its material consciousness, care for Nature,
logical Mind, but it is nevertheless in crisis, its Church is in
disarray, three marriages out of five end in divorce and even some
children need to go to psychiatrists before they start shooting
other children. Yet, if you have a look at most of the mainstream
English-speaking Indian magazines and newspapers today, you will
notice that all their cover stories deal with western concepts, that
they are looking at India from a Western point of view, such as
talking about `New Age` spirituality, as if spirituality is new to
India, that there is never any reference to India`s great past, or
to India`s philosophy, or medicine (which is by the way becoming
fashionable in the West). Notice also that when the Pope of
Hinduism, the Shankaracharya of Kanchi, is arrested - and it could
not have been done without Sonia`s knowledge - the entire Indian
intelligentsia claps, though he still has not be proved guilty more
than one year later. And that when a new Pope is elected in Rome, we
gets in India hours of live coverage and countless cover stories.
Islamization, Westernization, Christianization, anti-Hinduism and
Marxisation are the five forces which Sonia has marshaled to subdue
India. The occult effect of it is that nobody realizes that in a
country of 850 million Hindus, you have now a Sikh Prime Minister -
when Sikhs constitute only 2% of the country`s population; a Muslim
President - when Muslims are only 10% in India; a communist leader
of Parliament - when communism is moribund the world over; and a
Western and Christian supreme leader, when Westerners constitute
only 0,0001% of India and Christians 3%. Where are the poor Hindus ?
What will happen if India becomes enough westernized at the social
level, Christianized and Islamized at the religious level and taken
over by the Marxists at the intellectual level ? Not only will India
lose its unique soul and just become another western clone in the
developing world, but the earth will lose something very precious:
an ancient knowledge, a irreplaceable way of being, which makes even
the most ordinary farmer or coolie carry something unique in his or
her genes: a tolerance, an acceptance that God can take many forms,
an innate philosophical mind, an understanding that there is
something beyond us, beyond death. Even Indian Christians are
different from any Christians in the world, Indian Muslims different
from any Muslims in the world. They would also lose.
Maybe it is thus necessary for Indians to see for themselves the
harmful effects of Sonia`s queenship : the oil for food scam, the
mistrust of Hindus, the bomb blasts, the deteriorating situation in
Kashmir, the proliferation of madrasas, the frenzied globalization,
the Christian conversion drive... Then only will they realize that
is important to have an Indian at the top, someone who is in touch
with India`s ideals and spirituality and not someone who is sold the
West and these alien western concepts which are Marxism and
Christianity.

Then only will they realize that
is important to have an Indian at the top, someone who is in touch
with India`s ideals and spirituality and not someone who is sold the
West and these alien western concepts which are Marxism and
Christianity....

ICICI to cough up Rs 50,000 for increasing interest on loan without informing client.
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed the ICICI bank to pay Rs 50,000 as compensation for indulging in unfair trade practices after the bank increased the rate of interest on a personal loan taken by the complainant without informing him.
The bank has also been directed to overhaul and reconcile the complainant’s loan account with the interest rate of 14 per cent per annum as is applicable to all customers. The bank has also been asked to pay Rs 5,500 as litigation costs.
The complainant, S Hari Singh, took a personal loan of Rs 41,060 from the bank returnable in equated monthly installments (EMI) of Rs 2,222 at a rate of 14 per cent per annum.
The installments were to be subject to a decrease in the EMI and rate of interest after every six months. Singh averred that the loan amount totalled Rs 37,696 only as Rs 3,364 was deducted as processing fee and pre-equated monthly installments interest. He added that a copy of the loan agreement was not provided to him.
The EMI was to be debited on the 10th of every month but instead the bank debited the first two EMIs through Electronic Clearing System (ECS) on December 12, 2006 and January 6, 2007.
When the complainant requested that the EMI be debited only on the 10th as his salary was credited around the 6th of every month, the bank paid no heed. Singh alleged that owing to this pattern, the EMI payments for February, March and April 2007 bounced.
For May and June 2007, the EMI was cleared through ECS. From July 2007 to Feb 2008, a representative of the bank collected the EMIs personally from the complainant.
When the complainant raised the issue of the bank not reducing the EMI and rate of interest as promised, he was handed a foreclosure statement and repayment schedule showing an outstanding amount of Rs 42,874. “This was after paying Rs 26,664 as EMI. The bank also charged Rs 1,722 as penalty for late payment and Rs 2,700 as cheques-bouncing charges. Thereafter, a representative of the bank visited my house and threatened me with dire consequences if I failed to make the payment,” stated Singh.
In its reply, the bank stated that a loan of Rs 40,000 was disbursed to the complainant, which was repayable in 36 EMIs of Rs 2,222 and not 20 months as claimed by Singh. “The
complainant paid only 12 installments upto June 2008 whereas 18 installments were to be paid. The complainant did not maintain sufficient funds in his account due to which the cheques bounced,” stated the bank’s counsel.
Announcing the verdict, the forum said the bank was grossly deficient in rendering proper service as it had charged excessive interest as well as foreclosure charges, which had never been agreed to between the parties.

At a time when his estranged nephew Raj Thackeray loses no opportunity to espouse the sons-of-the-soil cause, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on Thursday made it clear that his son, Uddhav, was his natural successor and his party was the true champion of the “Marathi Manoos”.
Making his maiden speech at the Dussehra rally, Uddhav first prostrated before the cadre. “Every time a question is asked about whom Mumbai belongs to, I tell them that if you want an answer in the Thakeri (Thackeray) language, Mumbai belongs to our father,” said Uddhav. Daring critics to pose similar questions to the locals of Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad, he said: “There, you people are too scared to speak out, but you come to Mumbai and thumb your noses at us while asking this question.”
Making it a point to emphasise that he was his father’s son, he said: “Wherever I go, there is a huge crowd. A huge crowd is here also. This crowd has not collected to see Uddhav Thackeray. They are not here to listen to Uddhav Thackeray, but to listen to Uddhav Bal Thackeray.”
In his customary public appearance at the party’s annual Dussehra rally at the Shivaji Park grounds, Bal Thackeray said: “You have listened to Uddhav speak. People say that he speaks in a mellow way, and is not aggressive. You have heard him speak, you decide.”
Making references to his advancing years, he made a pitch for supporting his son as his natural successor. “Some people are publicising as their agenda the speeches I had given earlier,” he said in an oblique reference to his nephew, adding that he was an infant when the Sena was founded. “This is not something that we are doing today. The Shiv Sena was born for the Maharashtrians,” he emphasised.
Without naming Raj, Uddhav said: “Those who were not good and were unfaithful left the Sena. Some of these people are speaking about their false love for the Shiv Sena chief.” Raj had recently upped the ante over the Parliament privilege committee notice being sent to his uncle.
Uddhav also attacked the ruling Congress-NCP dispensation over the neglect of Mumbai, farmers suicides, and the recent communal riots in the state. He criticised Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh over their defence of those arrested in the Jamia Nagar shootout in Delhi.
