Whatever, the condition of global or indian market, at the most the stock can hit the book value of Rs.135.57 and from their it is bound to shoot up. So dont think about 40 or 100. In the worst condition you will see 136 in the stock. ...

Yes, I agree, the stock could not hold 160 and it is falling, probably there is a free fall to Rs.117. I did exit now. Looks like nothing positive from U.S bail out plan. Europe is moving into red zone....

Sorry guys for my comments on realty. I just noticed Mkt Cap 1,399.71 | * P/E 5.88 | Div 65.00 | * EPS (TTM) 32.64 | B/V: 135.57 - This is somewhat exciting, this is not a weak stock. This will shoot up, as there is no downrisk in this stock. Sobha is a very strong realty stock, whereas HDIL is very weak. One can hold on to this scrip as well as Anasal Properties at this very bottom levels.

Debt taken by Sobha has jumped up quite a lot in last year. All debt ratio have turned very bad from investment perspective. Wonder what they are doing with money and given the rights issues, the stock may tank more? ...

Real estate stocks are the favourite of Bear Operators.
So be carefull and patient.Sobha has good leadership.Its major holdings are in bangalore.Their Sobha city project in Kerala is a good project.valuations are going cheap, but will be verey volatile
in the coming months as elections are approaching soon.
HDIL is attractive too.Bombay slum rehabilitation project offers a lot. but their kerala venture is in legal mess.
it is better to buy large real estate companies, based on liqudity reasons.but can buy under valued shares during deep cuts.

Expect a further downside from current levels .. they have more plans to raise capital in the current calendar year .. wil buy at 180 levels only now.
