Hi Vkk,

The opinion `in winter generally the occupancy is somewhat better` is bit suprising to me .

I always thought they do better business in Summer. That is the impression I am carrying from childhood... never cross checked. I will do that now. Thanks.

Added Indian Hotels to watchlist.

Regards,
Sri

Thanks for your views. However, in winter generally the occupancy is somewhat better. This year there may not be growth in the occupancy rate, but even it should be better as compared to 1st and 2nd qtr. With 1-2 years horizon, this share could give decent returns.

Hi vkk,

Occupancy rates are set to go down further. India may not be in recession but spending will come down considerably in the next 2, 3 quarters.

Ok to accumulate SLOWLY (general opinion about Hotel sector).

Regards,
Sri

It is available at this price mainly because of high interest cost liability and a little low rate of room occupancy. I think once these two things are taken care of, it should be quoted at not less than 65/70 minimum. So 50% returns can b achieved in non too distant future. My views for sure.

Dear googol,

I bought SRF, and many others, in May`08. Considering the other losses.. loss in SRF is not much. (overall PF down by 40%).

Anyways I would like add some more SRF.. but limited funds now.

As for my interest in other stocks,
It is quite a lengthy list. So far I have 75 scripts in my PF. 25 of them are added in Oct`08 itself. I may reduce it to 25 once the market recovers. But in the near term I can see it will zoom to 100 scripts.

Regards,
Sri...

Dear Sri,

You may have to buy more SRF considering the 30% loss.

You are right.Given its day SRF would move faster than IHL

I wanted to know your interests in other stocks

Thanks and regards,

For People who are in search of safer and good scrips, I can suggest : deepak fertiliser(CMP 55) - target 68. Piramal healthcare (CMP 225) - target 258. Andhra bank(CMP 42) - target 50. All targets may be achieved by november end. Investors are advised to take a look on financials for 4-6 previous quarters before taking any decisions. I am invested in these scrips right now. I have made handsome money in these scrips many times. These scrips provide good dividend also(good bet in bear market)....
