KRChoksey Research has come out with its earning estimates on FMCG sector for the quarter ended December 2008. According to the research firm, Tata Tea`s December quarter sales are expected to go up 10.0% at Rs 1303 crore on YoY basis.

Tata Tea is a great stock to own in any portfolio. Cocoa prices are going through the roof. In the upturn food prices are likely to rise a lot. Tata Tea owns majority holding in Tata Coffee, not to mention their own business of beverages & food which will do very well. They are flush with cash, a huge positive in todays enviorenment....
