The company has top class management and an investor must go for such company shares. yes, it is for long term holding.it is a great share to hold.

It is a good share. If u can hold it for LT say 2-3 years, then u can go for it, though looking to the market conditions, it may fall further from current level.

Crompton Greaves Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008:

The results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2008

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 925.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 741.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 9235.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 to Rs 10964.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

The consolidated results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2008

The Group has posted a Net Profit from ordinary activities after tax, minority interest and share of profit / (loss) of associate Companies of Rs 1201.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 where as the same was at Rs 909.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Total Income is Rs 21052.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 where as the same was at Rs 15895.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.

Current period figures include the results of the subsidiary acquired during the current period, Consequently, the figures for the current period are not comparable with the figures of the previous period and figures for the previous period have been regrouped and reclassified, wherever necessary....
