PI Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on July 21, 2008, inter alia, had approved the board recommendation on following matters:

1. Increased the Authorized Capital from Rs 10 Crores to Rs 23 Crores divided into 2,00,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each and 3,00,000 preference shares of Rs 100/- each.

2. Issue of Rights Share on the ratio of 1:1 to the existing equity shareholders.

3. Issue of Bonus shares on the ratio of 1:1 to the existing equity shareholders (Post Rights issue) and;

4. Keeping of Register and Index of Members and all other related books with M/s. Karvy Computershares Pvt. Ltd. as Registrar and Share Transfer Agent of the Company.
