Siemens Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 22, 2008, inter alia, has taken the following decisions:

1. Mr. Sunil D Mathur has been appointed as an Additional Director as well as a Whole-time Director of the Company w.e.f. July 22, 2008, subject to all requisite consents and approvals.

2. Mr. Stephan Schneider has been appointed as an Alternate Director for Prof. Dr. Hermann Requardt w.e.f. July 22, 2008.

3. Mr. K R Upili, Whole-time Director ceases to be a Director of the Company w.e.f. July 27, 2008.

4. Mr. Vijay V Paranjape has been re-appointed as a Whole-time Director of the Company for further period of two years w.e.f. October 01, 2008.
