Dear Boldy, I do not have any stake in KSK. I also do not deal in derivative. Secondly I am in the debt market as a consultant. I get certain info which are confidential. I can not elaborate. I have only cast doubt on honesty. Promoters may be qualified. Few years ago I read in the paper that Indlab pharma evaded excise duty blatently. I immediately sold the shares at loss. I was proved right later. Investors still do not rate that company high. DIIs do not take stake. Companies like L & T, Tatas Infosys are known for honesty. You can remain investor for long term in such shares. ...

Dont psss nonsense comment without knowing the facts, The promoters are highly quakified technocrats who are experts in the field of consultation, ventures into energy sector, they have projects worth millions based on coal,gas, lignite, Hydro & now into nuclear in India.
On what basis are you passing comments like this,please elaborate your information on this board or else you have some unfounded motives to speak foul of this company

So what? All it matters is profitability. As it is they have not chalked out any plans to setup Nuclear reactors in the near future. Investing in a company which may or may not do something in the future is very risky. Whereas GIPL is in this business for nearly 15 years. And have executed projects successfully. GIPL also has plans to venture into power distribution and transmission. Even they have discussed plans to setup 500 MW more of power after the current expansion.
Look at all the Real Estate stocks which fell more than 70% from their issue price. Like that Power companies, take 2-3 years to implement projects and there is enough room for uncertainty, implementation issues, regulatory changes, etc.. A decent market cap should be about Rs. 1500 crores for KSK. ...

GIPL is a company confined to energy in Gujarat, but KSK is a company into consultation & power ventures not only based on Coal, lignite,thermal & Gas, KSK has also the technical know how of the nuclear energy source and installation of reactors in India,led by a fundamentally good set of Technocrats of highest caliber, hence comparison with GIPL is baseless and not realistic,you should be able to compare this company to Big giants like Reliance power, Areava etc.

One needs to wait till 2012 to see good results hopefuly if they complete on time. They are going to add capacity slightly equal to what Gujarat Industries Power will have in 2009. GIPL is having a market cap of about Rs. 1100 crores only whereas KSK is having a market cap of Rs 6500 crores. In my opinion KSK is definitely costlier as it is. GIPL have their own lignite mines enough to power 1000 MW for 30 years. KSK maybe attractive if it falls close to Rs. 60 - Rs. 70
